Having a farm project on a hill where there is no readily available water for use can be challenging, let alone the absence of electricity to power electric water pumps. In some regions of the world, ram pumps can be purchased in local farm supplies store but in the Philippines you have to fabricate one.
Project Overview
Ram pump is a pressure-driven water pump that aids farmers and ordinary people in pumping water from a stream going up an elevation for use.

The following materials are needed to fabricate a ram pump

- Tubing
- Tube fittings
- Rubber gasket
- Wrenches
- Welding machine (optional) if welding is needed
- Bolts and nuts
- Weights
